Vancouver’s top award-winning installation company is looking for more tilesetters specializing in high-end residential work.  Performance bonuses on top of hourly wages put you in control of the size of your pay cheque. Our installers regularly make 50% more than union rates — they don’t work evenings, weekends or statutory holidays and we supply the materials.

These are permanent, full-time positions with Canada Pension Plan, vacation pay, employment insurance benefits as well as an extended medical and dental plan. Powerhouse Tile prefers not to use sub-contractors.

The successful candidates will be true craftsmen, with an eye to detail and pride in their workmanship. They are comfortable working either with a team or by themselves and are as capable in renovation work as they are with new construction. Candidates must have a reliable, appropriate work vehicle, all tools including wet saw, and have a minimum of 10 years of work experience as a tile installer.

Please respond with three references who can vouch for your professionalism and character, preferably ones who are willing to let you show us your workmanship in person. If that is not possible, then prepare to show us a job in progress. Candidates unwilling to provide proof of skill will not be considered.
